Marcus & Millichap Arranges The Sale Of Single-tenant Checkers Restaurant In Chicago, Illinios
July 13, 2023Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, has announced the sale of a Checkers Restaurant in located in Chicago, IL, according to Steven Weinstock, regional manager of the firm’s Chicago offices. The asset sold for $1,228,000.
Brian Masserman, Ashish Vakhariya, Seth Haron, and Darin Gross, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Detroit office, facilitated the transaction on behalf of the sellers. “The tenant was operating on an absolute net lease backed by a 14-unit local franchisee. The property is strategically located on a hard corner lot less than a half mile from Interstate-94 and the 95th/Dan Ryan Red Line and the Greyhound Chicago 9th Bus Station.” says Brian Masserman, Associate, National Retail Group/Net Leased Properties Group. “Our marketing efforts resulted in a closing timeframe of 43 days with an internally sourced buyer.”
