October 14, 2024MARCUS & MILLICHAP ARRANGES THE SALE OF AN OPHTHALMOLOGY CLINIC IN KALAMAZOO, MICHIGAN FOR $900,000, October 14, 2024 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, has announced the sale of Gull Road Ophthalmology & Optical Suites, a 5,129-square foot two-tenant medical office property located in Kalamazoo, MI, according to Steven Ross Chaben, regional manager of the firm’s Detroit office. The asset sold for $900,000.
Seth Haron, Ashish Vakhariya, and Darin Gross, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Detroit office, facilitated the transaction on behalf of the buyer and seller. “The property was fully leased by two tenants operating on short-term, triple-net leases. The asset benefits from its location within a medical corridor and its position on a main road, providing ease of access for patients. The clinic is also conveniently located half a mile from Ascension Borgess Hospital (353 beds, Level II Trauma Center) and two miles from Bronson Methodist Hospital (434-bed teaching hospital, Level I Trauma Center),” said Seth Haron, First Vice President Investments within the National Healthcare Real Estate Group. “We ended up closing the deal with an out-of-state 1031 buyer in 32 days.”
